Post # 6 - Last, and Final Post

After three months of English study in U of C, First of all thank you Julie for giving us such a good teaching, I can obviously feel that my writing and speak have significantly improved compared to the previous. but the lack of vocabulary also limits the further improved, while the pronunciation is still not too standard. of course, I will continue improving by a variety of ways in my work and life in the future.

post 5#: Canada day

This is my first time to celebrate Canada day. I was very exciting in Canada day in spite of I'm a Chinese. I known that there were many celebration activities in the Calgary, such as an Aboriginal showcase with a traditional Powwow on Prince’s Island, a fantastic line-up of Canadian musicians on the Riverfront Avenue stage and an outstanding fireworks display off the Centre Street Bridge.  But I have been regretting that I didn't stay in Calgary to celebrate Canada day because I went to Vancouver and meet my high school classmate with my friends. Now I share my Vancouver trip for everybody. 
My friends and I drove rental car to the Vancouver. I drove for 8 hours from Calgary to Vancouver. Although we had be very tired during that time,  we were happy and exciting that we saw the beautiful scenery along the way. When I arrived the Vancouver, I met my classmate we hadn't been meeting for 5 years. In the following the three days, we went to the Stanley park, Caplinano Suspension Bridge, Granville island, Gastown, UBC and UBC nearby beach. It's time to show picture. 

    

Post # 4 - Trying New Food(introduce Chinese for us)

  I have been more than 2 months in Canada, During the time,I just once time have went to  local restaurant in the Calgary. this is Chinese restaurant where you can eat chinese food and hot pot. Except that, I have cooked by ourself in the apartment. because I can't suited to eat canadian foods. Especially sichuan people,I am interesting in spicy food.
 a few classmates  will go to china as I know. today,I want to introduce chinese food for you.
 China is a large country and has many nationalities, hence many kinds of Chinese food with different, but delicious and fantastic.
Chinese food can be divided into four regional cuisines
1.Shandong Cuisine
   Introduction: It is also named lu cai, which is famous for the  typical of north china, and originated in QI and LU areas in spring-autumn and warring states.

   Features: Tastes are salty and fresh with tender, crisp

   Dishes: yiping tufu ; sweet and sour fish; boiled ginkgo
  

2 Sichuan cuisine

Introduction:Sichuan cuisine is originated in the Sichuan province which is in southwest of china. It is not only loved by sichuan’ people, but also enjoyed by people from all over china, and even in a number of foreign countries.

Features: it is characterized by its spicy and hot flavors

Dishes: Sichuan hot-pot ; Twice-cooked pork, ma po tufu;

3.Cantonese cuisine

Introduction: Cantonese cuisine is one of the major Chinese cuisines. It developed as a school of its own as a result of its unique dishes and flavors, enjoying a good reputation both nationally and abroad. Hongkong food belong to Cantonese cuisine.

Features: it stress the quality and flavor, tastes are light,sweet with fresh.

Dishes: Char siu; beef chow fun; char siu buns.

4.Jiangsu cuisine

Introduction: it also call huaiyang cuisine, is popular in the lower reach of the huiyang river. Food material are main from water products.

Features: it stress the freshness of material, focuses on how to use soup to make cooking better.

Dishes: crab lion head; hairy crab; salted duck.

Post # 3 - Transportation Etiquette in China

There are many public transportation that are same to all over the world in china, such as subway, city train, bus and so on.In china especial as big city, the transportation are very crowed at the commuter time. like this

   there are many transportation etiquette in china .Lots of etiquette are same with other countries. In my blogger , I introduce some different rules what I know in Chinese transportation .
1. when you get into bus,you shall move to the back of carriage as soon as possible in order to next stop passengers get on.
2. you'd better not sit special seats for senior people and pregnant women.
3. you can't take any flammable and combustible material, controlled knives into public transportation even if you just use them by yourself.

post 2#: C-Train Etiquette

   I take C-train to university of Calgary every day.It's very convenient.Due to I visit to Canada at first, I don't know the public transportation's situation and rules in the beginning that are a few of difference in China. First, there aren't any physical box offices in the C-Train station and any tellers in the C-train. But you don't consider you can't buy the ticket by the C-Train, which is a big wrong. The police of Calgary will check our ticket as I know without day. If you couldn't buy the ticket to be checked by the C-train, you wouldn't only be required to replace the ticket,but also be arrest to the police station. The behavior is very bad. The second, the bus don't stop on every station if you don't call the station's stop. I took the bus at one time, I missed my stop for unknowing the rule.
    As the C-train or subway etiquette, I think it is same all over the world. First, we can't drop rubbish and spit anywhere in the station and the C-train. the second, we shall let passengers get off first. the third, young people shall not sit the seats for senior people. If you sit the seat, you shall be initiative to take yours to senior person.      

Ravishing Quebec City

  welcome everybody to my blog. this is my first blog in my life. I know that it is a platform share my own experience and sentiment for my friends.I hope that you can like. 
  Today, I want to share a wonderful Quebec's trip which is one of our trip in eastern Canada. In the future I will go on sharing other cities of scenery.
